Eriez appoints new VP of international business

Eriez has promoted Jaisen Kohmuench to the position of vice president of international business. Kohmuench has been with the Erie, Pennsylvania-headquartered manufacturing company since 2000, serving most recently as senior director of Asia-Pacific operations and strategy with responsibility for Eriez’s subsidiaries in China, Japan and Australia.

Eriez President and CEO Lukas Guenthardt says, “As a member of our corporate management team, Jaisen will be instrumental in developing policies and strategic plans for the global Eriez organization. Given his experience working in many different capacities and operations at Eriez in Erie and internationally, Jaisen has the qualities to take our 12 international subsidiaries to the next level.”

During his career, Kohmuench has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2018 Frank F. Aplan Award presented by the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration and the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers. Additionally, Kohmuench has published an array of technical papers and made dozens of professional presentations at various domestic and international conferences.

Eriez is recognized as a world authority in separation technologies. The company’s catalog features magnetic lift and separation, metal detection, fluid recycling, flotation, materials feeding, screening, conveying and controlling equipment.

VCES joins C.W. Machine Worx as exclusive distributor in California

Carroll, Ohio-based C.W. Machine Worx has announced that Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES), Corona, California, will be the exclusive distributor of its dust suppression products in California.

VCES is a provider of construction equipment and services throughout the state and will be offering a wide range of dust suppression equipment for sale or lease at all seven of its branch locations. According to the company, by adding dust suppression equipment to its product line, VCES is strengthening its commitment to the safety of its customers, the public and the environment.

As a manufacturer of self-contained and trailer-mounted dust suppression equipment, C.W. Machine Worx says dust suppression technology provides a safe and effective way of preventing harmful particles from escaping construction and demolition projects.

Sennebogen appoints national sales manager

Sennebogen LLC, Stanley, North Carolina, has appointed Jason Jones as its Americas’ sales team manager. In this position, Jones will be responsible for developing and leading the Sennebogen sales network in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America.

“[Jason] has a proven record of achievement in growing sales and share in industrial markets by developing the right processes and tools that enhance customer experience at every level,” says Constantino Lannes, president of Sennebogen LLC.

According to a news release from the company, Jones has been managing sales and marketing teams in the steel industry for more than 15 years. Through his previous positions, he is well-connected to a variety of business sectors, including scrap, recycling, steel and pulp industries. “We’ve been very impressed by Jason’s strategic approach to market development and account management,” Lannes says. “He is very knowledgeable of the business needs of dealers and [helping guide] customer organizations for commercial success.”

Komptech Americas, Plexus Recycling Technologies appoint president

Denver-based Komptech Americas and Plexus Recycling Technologies have appointed Brandon Lapsys as president of both organizations. Marcel Vallen previously held this position before leaving the company in April.

Prior to taking on this position, Lapsys served in many roles at Komptech Americas. According to a news release from Komptech Americas, he has played a key role in the evolution of the business, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and direction of senior staff since 2008. Lapsys also helped with the launch of the Plexus Recycling Technologies business in 2016.

“Every day I am excited at the opportunity to help our customers succeed within the North American waste and recycling markets,” Lapsys says. “Innovative waste processing technologies, superior engineering and breadth of expertise are the foundational components of Komptech and Plexus that will lead us into the future.”

Moving forward, Lapsys will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in Denver. In addition to his role as president, he also currently serves on the board of directors for the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), where he was named C&D Member of the Year in March.

Galfab adds national sales director

Winamac, Indiana-based Galfab LLC has announced the appointment of Marcus Clindaniel as its national sales director. In his role, Clindaniel will work directly with existing and new end users and dealers throughout the United States.

“Our team at Galfab is thrilled to have Marcus on board,” says Galfab CEO Jerry Samson. “His extensive knowledge in the waste industry and customer service were paramount in our decision to add him to the Galfab team.”

Adds Samson, “Galfab continues to grow substantially, and Marcus will be a key team member representing Galfab hoists throughout the country.”
